Wow…it’s been FOREVER since I’ve updated this. BAD BLOGGER…No cookie! Speaking of cookies, we’ve got those now too…but more on that later.

Ok, I really like this piece. I may make one for myself…but I’m not much of a bracelet guy. I’m just a big fan of how the sterling silver and copper look together. And the tiger eye stone of this has a really nice depth (that you can’t really catch on camera. It’s 9-inches long, and very appropriate for either a man or a lady (Mother’s Day is coming…) Hop on over to our Etsy shop to look at a few more pics of this little item. Well, we finally did it! Oh, you probably don’t care a whole lot…you didn’t even know we were talking about it. :-)

We’ve finally set up our own little web site and Etsy storefront. I’m so proud of us…Scraps & Jewels is finally a reality!

So…who are we? “We” are Tory and Elicia Larson. Tory makes custom handmade jewelry, primarily from wire and beads. His work is rather understated with a Celtic influence. Elicia is a scrapbooker extraordinaire (this is being written by Tory…so I can brag her up). She specializes in beautiful, lush work and does everything from greeting cards and invitations to lovely scrapbook journals…and anything else in-between.

Our goal with Scraps & Jewels is to share our art with the world. And hopefully, some of you will like it enough to purchase a few pieces. We’d sure like that. ;-)

We’re just beginning to build up inventory on our Etsy shop. Swing by and give it a visit. Today we plan to post some lovely handmade copper chain and a copper and sterling silver chain maille bracelet. Later this week, look for a sterling handmade chain augmented with Swarovski (vegan) pearls and jet-black Swarovski crystal. Elicia’s working on a couple of charming designs for baby announcements that I can’t wait to show you.
